WHY WE ARE PROTESTING

There have been over 250 major wars in the world since World War II, in which 23 million people have been killed., tens of millions made homeless, and countless millions injured and bereaved. Over 37 (or 42) million people have by killed by wars in the 20th century. (State of the world)  We are scared! We do not know what to do! We want the world to know we do not support war. The thought of what can happen during war horrifies us.

Violence has become televisions top entertainment

We are living in a society  where violence has been promoted as entertainment. Television and films have been getting increasingly more bloody and gory. The typical American child will witness 8,000 murders and 100,000 acts of televised violence in his lifetime. Source: American Psychological Association. History demonstrates, `might is right in the strongest wins. How can we hope for world peace when we have not been adequately taught to solve problems peacefully. Relationships are failing and families are breaking up because of violence. At least one in every three women has been beaten or otherwise abused during her lifetime. Peace begins within each one of us in choosing to act peacefully when relating with others. We also have a responsibility to speak out against violence. Killing people who kill people is not the way to teach people that killing is wrong.  We have a human right to ask for  non-violent action to resolve problems!  that can affect us. We the people stand up united for peace! We ask our countries to stop this madness and utilize other means than war to seek justice and an end to terrorism and work towards a peaceful solution.
Say no to war using non-violent, constructive solutions that promote peace, equality and justice around the world. Send free faxes to congress and the president telling them we can win without war, because we have the intelligence. and that they should let the inspections  work. Tell them you support a peaceful solution and urge them to  renounce the use of nuclear weapons, ever again! See why

War is archaic behavior from creative, inventive,
intelligent  people.

Remember we get what
we think about the most.
Think peace

Gandhi said. Violence defeats itself. It only brings about more hate and more violence.
Gandhi told his followers to meet body force with soul force. He told them to meet hate with love
